Broken fabric of oil application pad is the common problem in Kyocera FK-1150 fuser unit. If the plastic holder of the OEM pad is not damaged and you have "extra" 10-15 minutes, you can use CET7420 fabric to rebuild the oil application pad. In case the plastic holder of the OEM pad is broken (for example if you have broken one the clip fixing posts) or you want to save your time, using of CET6901 oil application pad with holder is quite convenient.
The design of this pad is different from OEM to make it more reliable.
Please be noted that you should apply two layers of a lubricant:
- The first layer - 0.2 ml of Molykote HP-300 grease (included)
- The second layer - 0.2 ml of silicon oil (supplied with the fixing film).
